Teriyaki Sauce

Teriyaki sauce we used to make tofu tacos October 2024!

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1 cup water (divided)
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 3 tbs brown sugar
• 1-2 tbs honey
• 2 tbs corn starch
• 1 tbs sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Mix all except 1/4 cold water, corn starch, and sesame seeds together in a sauce pan and heat.
2. Mix cornstarch and cold water and dissolve.
3. After sauce is simmering add cornstarch and water mixture, whisk until thickens.
4. Heat until desired thickness. If too thick add water.
5. When ready add sesame seeds.
6. Enjoy!
